Megan has experience treating adults and children in various therapeutic settings including: skilled nursing, outpatient rehab, nonprofit TBI clinic, pediatric feeding clinic, schools, and private practice. She developed a passion for adult and geriatric populations while job shadowing in a nursing home during her undergraduate career. Megan aims to help those who have experienced a stroke, brain injury, or other neurological diagnosis improve or regain previously impaired functioning while improving their overall confidence in communication. She is licensed in Georgia and Tennessee and certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). She is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), SPEAK OUT! provider for Parkinson’s voice, and Ampcare ESP provider for swallowing. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from East Tennessee State University. She was born and raised in Johnson City, TN but relocated to Georgia to begin her career.
